In a fast-paced and suspenseful novel, One of us is lying, is like the Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars. Five students, all from wildly different social circles, enter detention. Only four leave. These four remaining students are all suspects with motive to want the former head of their school's social media gone before he could release the dirt he had on them all. To clear their names, the brain, the criminal, the jock and the princess must all work together and find the true murderer in their midst. This teen trope murder mystery has been adapted into a 2021 TV show which has one season.
